Acceleration Tubes Instructions

  1. Athlete number 1 pulls athlete number 2
  2. Both start jogging
  3. Athlete number 1 starts the pull
  4. Athlete number 2 waits until athlete number 1 is 10 to 15 meters away and then athlete number 2 runs
  5. Athlete number 1 must pull 10 meters beyond this required distance
  6. Remember... if you feel line you are going to fall:
    1. Lean back
    2. Tell the person that is pulling to stop
  7. Your rest period is your walk back to the starting line.
  8. Athlete number 2 will then pull athlete number 1 the required distance
  9. Never pull an athlete more than .5 of a second faster than the basic speed.
  10. Never pull an athlete that has a lower leg injury.
