Acceleration Tubes Instructions
- Athlete number 1 pulls athlete number 2
- Both start jogging
- Athlete number 1 starts the pull
- Athlete number 2 waits until athlete number 1 is 10 to 15 meters away and then
athlete number 2 runs
- Athlete number 1 must pull 10 meters beyond this required distance
- Remember... if you feel line you are going to fall:
- Lean back
- Tell the person that is pulling to stop
- Your rest period is your walk back to the starting line.
- Athlete number 2 will then pull athlete number 1 the required distance
- Never pull an athlete more than .5 of a second faster than the basic speed.
- Never pull an athlete that has a lower leg injury.
